After the rains stopped falling

The Triangle area of North Carolina certainly skirted the brunt of tropical storm Hanna and faired much better than the rest of the victims of her path. But we still got wet. This little park is usually a poor sight for watershed. The vegetation at the top of the dam should be a giveaway, so I was excited to see this.

The watershed looking like lines of different colours in the first photo is super-cool. How did you make that happen?

Yeah, that was Mother Natures' doing with the coloring of the falls. With all the runoff, I'm supposing it's disturbed sediment and eroded topsoil.
