Sorry to go against the flow but I think this is totally incoherent and should be discarded
The yellow line in the frame really pulls the eye.
The center of interest is in the center and totally blown out.
Some petals are almost unsaturated, some over.
Petals in the 'foreground' are OOF
It is way, way, way oversharpened.
Ends of petals are clipped.

Well! Probably more truth than fiction...I will take a new look at this image and the others shot that day.

'à la' means 'in the style of' and is short for, I think, 'à la mode' (fr).

The Traveler knows from whence he speaks....like, in the manner of, etc. In my instance it was used to pay homage to someone else's style.

'à la mode' is a particularly American usage and it sometimes means 'with ice cream on top.'

but that clearly doesn't apply here.
