The colours are great but your images lack sharpness and could use a little help with your composition.
I'm assuming you didn't use a tripod? A tripod here could have really helped.

No worries, I'm glad I can help. I struggled with that as well when I started out and the tripod really makes a big difference.

No but it can only do so much. A tripod is a must for sunrise or sunset photos.

not a mash of colors running together with a steady shot.

there is a place near Nome called Big and Little Diomede Island and that is 2 miles across the international
dateline and Russia, not only can you see Russia, you can see tomorrow.
