I decided to take a stab at HDR processing on my recent trip to North Carolina. We caught the sun just as it was about to set over the dunes south of Kitty Hawk. I played with some of the processing and this is what I came up with. I was fairly happy with this result, but wondering if that's just my inexperience with the HDR method talking. I'm interested to know what ya'll think, so CC if you have any thoughts.

there is some red CA going on those left bushy/rocky areas near the sand. The lighting is odd, did you play with the lighting slider? The sun is kinda distracting as its blown out and huge bright spot in the upper left area. You seem to have lost some detain in the right tree/bush area.

Not a bad scene though the mood is rather peaceful! I think about a few more under exposed would have help the sun area and maybe 1 to 2 more over exposed would have helped the dark areas. I do see a little ghosting going on in the clouds near the sun. I personally think it lacks a little bit of saturation but thats just my opinion.

Just a few things I saw.

Here is an edit I did

Ooo...nice redux. I'll have to play around a bit more.

The original is much better. Vip has changed the color, made it blurry and added fake rays which dont look natural. Your original is pretty good and seems sharp enough. Many more exposures are needed for the sun area. Or rather a couple of really underexposed shots. And you have some CA around the bushes on the left as they touch the water. Before you do that though, consider if its a hanger and worth the effort.
