I bit the bullet and ordered one. It should be here on the 21st. I am super crazy excited.

For those who own one.... How are you liking yours??
How long have yo owned it?
How many do you own?
How do you best use yours?

I love mine, I have one 400 and one 800, I bought the medium soft box with it. I love them. Ended up ordering some triggers from gadget infinity since I hate cords, and I use mine mostly for key/background lights for portraits in my ghetto studio at home here. Tonnes of examples on my Flickr or here on previous posts.

I got to use 4 of them that someone just left at the school studio this weekend. I had a blast with them!! If I was going for studio work I would buy a few of them, but I need strobes with battery packs....

I just for now bought the one unit and the bag for it.
I'll use the cord for now. $$ is a bit tight for now
But I do plan on going wireless hopefully soon.

Just so you know its $40 for wireless for these. Lol cheapee cheapee to learn. When I start making money then I will invest in something fancy.

The Bees should have an optical slave. So if you adjust your on-board flash for fill, it should trigger the Bee. I could be wrong, somebody stop me please. Been a long day.... lotsa basketball on this weekend.

You're right. The b800's will slave to the on camera flash!

I was triggering them with a sb600 in a softbox for mine. worked like a charm all night long.

You are 100% correctomendo! This is one of the reasons I'm crazy stoked about it. I plan to take my speedlite off camera wireless and stand mounted. They will act together. LOVE it!! A lot easier to lug around than my current set up.
