2nd is better but I'm not fond of the processing, looks like you've brought in the highlights and raised the shadows too much and to me, it looks a bit grey and lacking contrast (especially when compared to the first). 1st looks like you missed focus slightly on the spider. Easy to do with small stuff. Processing on the 1st looks a lot better to me.

Thank you. You are right about missing focus on the first. I was shooting handheld and " rocking " on my heel to try and get focus. On the second, I made adjustments so shadows were not clipped and let the colors be soft. First was opposite edit.

Nice shots. These little crab spiders are very cool. Whenever you take shots of tiny flowers like that always look out for them.
