Do you have this in color? I think I would like this better in color. She seems to blend in to the pavement in the black and white.

This was taken 55 miles south of Aberdeen - Aberdeen, Maryland, that is. Baltimore has a large Farmers' Market every Saturday and Sunday underneath a large elevated highway. It's a bear to shoot because the booths are in the deep shadow but there is brilliant sunshine at all the sides. (Being from Scotland, you may not be familiar with 'sunshine.' You see, there is this large, very hot ball up in the sky ...............)

Yes, I took it in color but I don't like it because all the people's clothes are bright and pull my eye away from the center.
Plus, a picture in B&W is much more important.

Thats hilarious, I live in Aberdeen... Thats Aberdeen Scotland of course, when I first read you reply I was thinking, now way, Lew is in Aberdeen!... And yes, your right, we get about 4 days of summer per year

In Baltimore and surrounds, about 60% of daylight is sunny - and very (very) hot in the summer.
Anytime after 9:30 or before 4, taking pictures gets difficult.
One of the reasons I like NYC for street shooting - lots of buildings give shade.

Nice capture Lew; have you tried a crop that removes the one-legged woman upper right? For some reason that really bothers me, otherwise, I like it.
