Shot this crow scavenging for food in the late morning when the light was becoming a little harsh. This would've looked better had I used a slower s.s., 1/1250 sec. would've worked fine and the ISO would've been lower since using AUTO ISO. My mistakes are usually my best teacher.

f/6.3, 1/2500, ISO 500, +1 step, spot metering, 191 mm.

I like the shot! I might have tried to get the full reflection in the shot, but this still works. Nice detail on the bird.

Thanks Jeff. It's funny, I actually did have most of the full reflection (except for the end of the beak) but due to my bad habit of cocking my camera to the left I lost the full reflection when I turned the picture to the right to level it in post. Yeah, I could kick myself .... 😜
Here's the original.

I don't mind not having a full reflection unless its on still water with no oddities like reeds, pebbles etc

Its a nice shot in my opinion Kirk :)
