I dunno what your old stuff looks like so I can't say if you're getting better or not.

I do see a blown out highlight on that fallen tree, and in a hdr there really should not be any blown highlights imo. There is some kinda weird blue light in some of the black shadows in the foilage, seems a bit blurry in some spots.

overall not a bad effort...I've definitely seen worse.

Yeah man way to much electric green and the water is a blue hue. You also need some sharpening as it seems blurry.

I am not familiar with your stuff but, seems like this is just a painterly preset straight out of photomatix with no post processing.

Assuming you used a tripod, then you should have had a small aperture, which would have given you a depth of field so that everything in the pic would be razor sharp. As it is now, your foreground is out of focus. The background area such as the leaves to the right of the stump are amazingly sharp and you have captured some amazing details. It seems lately, that the main complaint is that pics posted are too small to see details. You certainly dont fall in that category. It was a pleasure to see it all.
