Am I going in correct direction ?

Hi,
It has been few months (2-3) while trying photography.
I am sharing some of my shots, please let me know if they are fine and if I am improving, suggestions and further tips are welcome.

You are making it too difficult to see your pictures.
Use the hot-link code from Flickr and put them in the thread.
I suggest you divide them and post only 3 or 4 at most in the appropriate forum. -Landscape, People and Macro.
I look forward to seeing them.

way too many pics....I enjoy taking pics of people, so I will comment on your people pics....solo shots focus is good ....on the couple choose a different aperture, your dof is way too shallow with the aperture chosen to get the male in focus.....the eyes look over retouched whites of the eyes are never pure white from edge to edge.....and watch the colour of your backgrounds

Thanks, but I didn't retouched that area you are taking off, may be adjusting curves caused it.

In my opinion flowers are better presented with out the ground showing. They are best isolated (on stem) with plain, smooth background. If not possible because of other things around, open up the aperture, get in close for a narrow depth of field to enable a nice blurred background. The detail is nice on the flowers but also on the ground, which is distracting. With the ants, always try to shoot the sun to your back to eliminate the sun blow out in the background.
