Am I missing something simple?

Hi
Just want to ask a simple question really re Canon 300d
I charged my batteries and when I put them back in it wont switch back on. I'm getting no display at all
Have taken off grip and used both batteries as singles, no joy.
All are Canon products.
It baffles me so can anyone help please before I take to be looked at

I don't know if this will help or not, but make sure the connection is good at the charger and that the charger is working. I would suspect the charger if it was working fine before you charged. It may be possible they disharged??? I dunno, just a guess.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.... re charger, the light flashes until battery is fully charged then stays on, which is how it should be
