I like your first pic with the full arm. When I look at the crop it looks like a little kid arm or an arm that's coming out of the top of her shoulder - seeing the full arm gives me a sense of relief for this sweet girl.

It does kind of look like a little kid arm! I like both the crop and the original for different reasons. I like the crop because it gives more detail to her face because it's bigger, but I like the original because it's what I intended, and the branch and the bit of her hand that you can see don't bother me. Their not what I focus on; nothing else fights for my attention more than she does.
