I think I understand the idea of capture and/or shooting wildlife.

How does the duck know its American and from which part of America does it come?

My recollection of the concept of 'Black Duck' is from Daffy Duck (Warner Bros), as in "not this black duck".
Under current linguistic restrictions, is it kosher to refer to the duck as 'black'? Is there a white version?

If a duck is migratory, which I believe they are, does it become a different nationality once it has crossed any arbitrary border? For example, is there a Mexican duck and is its residency tenuous?
