This is terrific, Ed. He's at a really nice angle and I like the soft light here.

I love this time of year - the goldfinches in my area come out looking for spent flowers that have lots of natural thistle. In my garden, that means I get to see them hopping around what's left of the black-eyed Susans.

This looks more like a purple coneflower, or something similar. Nice work!
