This guy actually sat still long enough for me to get a couple of shots of him. I'm not sure I like how blue LR made the sky behind him, but it was a blue, cloudless day, so I guess it's OK. As the Fall turns into Winter, the Kestrals will be less flighty, so maybe some better shots in January/February.

Very nice image. I'd love to get one of those around here.
Thank you! We have several in the area, and they are a fast little bird. Once the grasshoppers disappear, they'll start preying on the sparrows and mice.
