Well, you could consider it wildlife, right ?

My wife has recently gotten into Amigurumi (crochet).
Making all these little animals and things.

They are cute and great to try out a bit of your phototechniques. They don't move, ***** or nag.......

Made in the lightbox I made

What would I need or use to light this out really good ?
Need some tips to start working with

If you move the light in closer, two things will happen that you might desire... the light will become softer, and it will "fall off" faster, which will darken the back parts of the table, background. Try to get the light within 2 or 3 inches and see what happens.

That would be hard in this case. It's a hanging light.
I really need to get a moveable table light to light some things out.

Thanx for the info !

You can get a clamp-on shop light at walmart for $5 -$10. You can even pin some diffusion material right to the rim to make the light softer.

If only they had Wallmart in the Netherlands :lmao:

I've crocheted more little creatures than I can count, for kids and grandkids. They're lots of fun and this little guy is adorable. I like the solid background better than the damask, but I think maybe a color other than white would be better. I think you might need some more light coming from the sides to eliminate the shadows. It would be cute to pose them doing something, you might have to run a piece of wire through them for posing, but it could be removed when you were through. Cute idea, lots of room for creativity.l

She has made piles of them too allready.
Just need to get some decent lights to use with my lightbox and some materials for background.

they look very noisy. And yeah, a moveable light makes it so much better!

Regards,
Jake

Yes they are noisy. I had to crank the ISO up because of the low light conditions.
Next on shopping list -> Ikea for some cheap lamps !
