An Amazing Sunrise

Yesterday I went to the Smokys. This morning I went back to the lake. The time change made it a little more difficult since the sunrise is an hour earlier than it was yesterday. I took my gear and set up my tripod. I waited patiently until the sun peeped over the horizon. Then, the fun began. I took a lot of photos, but I am only posting one. What a gorgeous sight it was.

Thanks. I like to underexpose my sunrise & sunset shots in order to get the star burst effect. Very little PP was done.

Nice shot! I think the sun rises and sets at the same time, we just cut one end of a blanket off and sow it to the other end and then say that the blanket is longer... Hope we ditch the time change one of these years...
