An engagement shoot.

Here are a two from a set I just finished editing. They're small town and the guy's in a car club and they wanted their shoot to include his blue Nova.

I think a little higher angle on the first one would have been more flattering. also on the first one, I would have either gotten ALL of the car in the frame, or shot more straight on and cropped it tighter. there's too much foreground in the first, which is just asphalt.

the colors in the second one seem a little washed out. not bad, just a little. I think there's just too much going on in this picture for being an engagement shot. its very hard to focus on the couple. there's the girl with the sign, the car, the building, and the big white line leading to everything. it almost seems like its more of a car shot that people just happened to get caught in.

The first one seems to me to be pretty much a nothing shot. I bet that the car is a Big Deal to one or both of them, though, so it may work for them where it does not for me.

The second is pretty nice. Again, the car is pretty much 'huh?' to me, but since it doesn't dominate the shot, the photo feels better to me.

The colors in both seem odd to me, but if that was your intention that's all you. I agree with the angle of the first shot being a little low, and for the second, I think it would have been a little nice if the kid holding the sign was closer to the couple to make them larger in the shot. Not bad though, just being picky.
