My better half and I decided to go for a short hike this morning at an area park. As we were walking I spotted a deer a good ways down the path. I signaled for my GF to stop and I crept as close as I felt comfortable (I've seen what a frightened deer can do to a person, no thank you). I was expecting the deer to bolt well before I got to a place I felt I could shoot from. I tend to shoot a lot of brackets, figuring if the first exposure works that's great, if not I have plenty of information to work with. I forgot I had my camera set for that, so this is a 9 exposure shot (my "go to" number) taken without tripod. I know it isn't gallery quality, but truth be told I am surprised I was able to get 9 frames without the deer bolting. I was getting set up for another shot when another hiker came strolling up and spooked the deer.
