I like these, though to be honest not as much as I might have if I hadn't seen the color one you posted in the People Photography gallery. That one is very similar to the top photo here, but her smile and eye contact with the camera in that one put it a notch above this one for me. This one also feels a little too weighted to the right to me: she is slightly right of center in the frame, her body is turned way to the right, and she is looking off at an angle to the right. That makes the extra dead space to the left superfluous. I think this might work very well as a square crop, removing the most out of focus portion (~25%) from the left.

I like the second shot. She is very centered in the frame and facing directly at the camera, usually not the most interesting composition. But the very slight turn of her torso and the unbalanced wind-blown hair, combined with the forward tilt of her head, create enough attitude to justify the center-of-attention placement. I'm not entirely buying her intense stare, but that's largely (entirely?) because I've seen her smiling, and it seems she is much more meant to smile.

By the way, nice attention to the little details. Things like making sure her bra and shirt straps are aligned, that her necklace is centered, and her hair is under control (I'd say there are an appropriate number of fly-aways in each shot).
