What's new

And some little Wood

Much appreciated

I have a whole bunch of not so sharp ones from yesterday that I can't bring myself to post up. They were taken with the 7100 and 80-400 combo. It really wasn't the combos fault, it was just the distance that ruined the shots. But how often do you get to watch a pair of Bald Eagles try to knock ducks out of the air. After yesterday I am more than a little sure that they are living in the area at the end of my street, not just passing through as there was an adult and sub adult working together :)

Bad pictures here if you're interested

Burrage Pond - C6Bill

Excellent! Especially the 1st. The "bad" pictures aren't, just far away.
The adults here chase sub-adults away from any hunting or fishing grounds, so that would have been interesting to watch.

The detail, is so nice and clear :)

Thanks everyone

If you have Downy or Hairy woodpecker shots feel free to add them in

These two were absolutely working as a pair. Someone who knows more about them that me might be able to say if it is the adult teaching the youngster or they are a pair and one is just not fully mature yet ?

Excellent indeed. I guess I won't be posting mine from this weekend :).

So have you decided where you are going to put the prints?

Do me a favor, don't go pixel peeping, they wouldn't stand up too well LOL

But it is a moment to remember. My ashes will actually be scattered there once I am gone, my nephew will be taking care of that for me, he's a good kid. Not just because of this but because the place in general is just amazing, it's my happy place Except the water snakes, don't like the snakes

If I have the guts to post my zoo pics after Todd's, then you have to post your bird pictures after Bill!

Bill, really awesome shots.

Thanks Barb

I think I'm getting the Family and Friends discount on the image quality from everyone, at least on the eagles

Ok, do you want to see my eagle shot? Can't believe I'm going to post this. $DSC_0643.webp

You get no special treatment from me. Although, I do kind of like you, which never happens. I generally hate everybody.
