I think the the roof on the bottom of the image is a distraction. Normally, either you take the image with the full building or no building at all. Don't know if anyone agrees with me.

Not so much a distraction as a missed opportunity. There is some wonderful cloud reflection in the tiny amount of glass that's in the image. More of that in the composition would have improved this shot immensely.

Only glass is in the pyramid, rest of the roof is metal. The reflections are probably shadows from bare trees. After staring at the original for awhile I changed the crop to include more of the building which I agree was too small in the first one. Can this one be improved in any way or was it just an idea that doesn't work

The new one is better than the original, but to me the building and the reflections and shadows on it are more interesting than the sky.

OK, here's the crop with a bit more drama in the sky. Trying to get balance with the building as originally I wanted it to be about the sky. Is this going to work??
