Anhinga In Flight

I know they are not the most rare birds in the south east, but this one was a new addition to my normal spot. it has been hanging out for the past few weeks. I am at least 2 hours from the coast, and these are more coastal birds, but they will come in a little closer to nest sometimes, yet I rarely see them around where I live. I enjoyed the lighting on this first shot in flight. I kind of like the dark underwings and the way the light is only bright on the face and neck mostly.

Things really came together on the in-flight shot...nifty foreground/background realtionships. Love the fully illuminated neck and head and the dark wingtip! AND, and, and...the highlighted leading wing edge AND the awesome dark wingtip feathers seen against the bright background bokeh blob! Totally sweet!
