The plan was to shoot the lighthouse silhouette at sunrise from the North by Anini beach. I wasn't too thrilled with how the morning was going, then this little dude hopped up and posed for me for a solid 60 seconds. Kilauea lighthouse is portrayed in the background.

For those who don't know, wild chickens and roosters are rampant in Kauai. They have no predators, so they're everywhere!

IMO the sun and cockerel silhouette is enough subject, the addition of the lighthouse has my eyes jumping around a little.
