Posting a hdr-pic from using 1 pic and created 5 diffent pics in LR3 from EV 5, 3, 0, -2 and -4 Original picture is taken with d700 and sigma 12-24 @ 12mm f/4,5 1/60sec

First time for me shoot inside a church and it's handheld but next time im gonna use a tripod.

I think you arent shooting for the darker areas or you arent processing for them. They are coming out too dark and dingy looking.

Yeah you're riht there, i see that your pic is lighter and i see the structure that is black in my pic. Before i post my pic i was almost reday to post it like you did but staring me blind at geting pic to dark.

Your version is the better one :)
 
Just keep in mind you want to show as much detail as possible using HDR...so the more the better so your viewers can see what you saw when shooting. If you don't remember it being this dark when looking with your own eyes then adjust until it brings back that memory. Unless your purposely going for the dark look then never mind what I just said. I have seen many HDR images out there that are quite striking and are intended to be dark but yet still capture detail.

Re-process and brighten it up substantially and I think you have a winner.

Bynx edit helps, but he is limited with a low quality .jpeg. Go back to square one bump and get the scene brighter.
