This is my first attempt. I been on this forum for a day now and I have fallen in love with Macro. lol Not sure if Im doing it right :D so lets feed me some feeback!!!

And dont mind the quality of the flower lol she is struggling a little lol

I also took some with my Film minolta 7d but yeah i gotta get them developed. On that one will be bugs and flowers.

i feel no emotion when looking at the photos. maybe its just the composition or something, but they just dont do it for me.

ok what am i missing? Break it down for me, remember im new lol so technical terms are spanish to me lol
 
Just a note that I dont think this is considered macro photography...this is more closeup.

Generally, you lack in composition...things are simply put in the center, you often cut off petals of some flowers. This may work sometimes, but that is because the photographer is doing it on purpose. The background for some of these is too busy and distracting

Thank you very much. So to get good macro, what is it im missing you think? Im using the PNS and my 7D maxxum film with macro 300mm lens

Just because the lens is said to be a macro does not mean that it does true macro.
A true macro will allow for a 1:1 image ratio on the sensor, which means the image is the same size as the subject being photographed
 
thank you for all the feedback. Im now researching it all and trying to figure out how and when I can get the right equipment to shoot macro.
