This time using color gels and an optical spot projected onto the backdrop. I have used color gels many times before, but this is my first time using an optical spot. I opted to using just the spot itself without a Gobo projection filter for this session. Perhaps a star shaped Gobo could look cool next time. I also used a fog machine for some of the shots, because sometimes I just can't help myself. It worked for some shots, ruined a few others, and for a couple of them I can't decide if it added anything or took from the shot.
I feel like my hair-light was just a tad over-powered during this session. I initially had a color gel over the hair-light flash as well, but decided it looked better without a color gel, but I did not think to reduce the output of that flash head, which in hindsight I should have. Thankfully this is just an experimental session with a friend and not a client session, so it's best for me to see these things now so that I know to correct it if I ever use a setup like this for a client session in the future.

And a black and white version of this one because something made me feel like it was suited for it.
