Jonathan, my second oldest will head off to boot camp in less than two weeks. he's very excited about it. his goal is to become a seal. either way, i'm extremely proud of him and am confident he'll take full advantage of this opportunity.

gonna party it up in a few days for his send-off

I wish him tons of luck. My grandpappy was a frogman back in the day. Boy does he have some stories to tell ...and some he still can't talk about...classified info. heh.

one of my friends just made it through navy boot, another is a seal now (he graduated high school with me) and my marine buddies are all either over seas right now or comin back. god speed to your son.
