Decided to have another go at the whole water drop, trying to obtain some different angles. I actually shot about 400, narrowed it down to a select few here.

2. Not much of a water drop, but I like it.

Here is a link with some more that I took, over 100 of them so I wasn't going to load them up on here. Hopefully the link works.

They're lovely. What was your set-up?

Your enthusiasm with the water drops yesterday got me to set it up for myself again last night, and your post today will probably lead to another time tonight.

Thanks! :D

BTW, I really like #3.

I set up 2 of my light stands with a level across them. Duct taped a plastic bag to it and had it drip into a small clear pyrex bowl. Mounted my camera and sb600 on my cheap-o tripod and used a pen to focus. Pretty much stuck at or around ss-250, iso200, and f/8. Flash was at 1/16 power. I messed with settings here and there, but that was the average I guess you could say.

I can't forget, I had an awesome assistant. My much needed 18mth old helped with set-up. She also contributed all the "say cheese" needed for every shot.

Nice i've been eager to have another go at them as well. Would you guys be able to share your setup??

(couldn't get the video embedded sorry)

Pretty much just did what this guy said to do. I inserted my own things, such as a pyrex bowl instead of what i believe is a paint tray he used. i really like the way the tungsten WB looks with this. I got shots from both my lenses. I also have a targus (crap) tri-pod, so you really do not need an expensive one. Although I was worried about the camera falling of the tripod cause the locking mechanism sucks.

I love 4 and i think with a white background it could've been better
