Another Saturday, another Zoo trip

Well another Saturday well spent at the zoo. I actually filled my 64 gb memory card and had to throw in the 16 gb toward the end of the trip. First shot for AstroNikon - I know how you like your ducks. Sorry, they were all out of froth.. lol:




My boys were out today, really missed them this winter. It was great to see them again:




Managed to make it out to the Rhino's:




Got up close and personal with a peacock.

I actually came to post my zoo pics but nope, I need way more practice. Boyfriend got the sigma 500 today. I'm hating him at the moment. (But love your tiger pics)

Nice so far. I like the first tiger. Make sure to fix the CA on the second tiger photo, unless that is the all illusive pink whisker tiger.

Well not sure if it's a crossdressing deal or what.. lol. Did notice something odd though, it's not noticeable on the original file on my monitor, but it is on the same monitor after I upload to flickr. Have to play around with it a bit.

Well sure, it's an age old story. Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall in love. Boy and girl move in together. Boy gets expensive telephoto lens. Girl gets jealous. Boy mysteriously disappears and is never heard from again.

Happens all the time really.. lol

Well it all depends, if it is the fixed length 500 then yup. He is never heard from again. If it's the 150-500 then he may just have an accident that would prevent him from using said lens for a year or two. We have to make sure the punishment fits the crime :thumbup:

The duck shot is nice, but I love the rhino one.. As majestic as they look in person, the photos always turn out dull and boring for me!

The gorilla's stance easily makes it my favorite of these. Still jealous of those of you who have a zoo nearby.
