Another step closer to the digitized world of photography.
Just ordered a Nikon Coolscan 5000. I decided to get one last year but had been putting it off. Well that has cost me another $100.
I was rather suprised to see that the 5000 and 9000 went up a bit (especially the 9000 which I was really thinking about).
But its time to start scanning some of the better slides I have. Shooting film less and less now. Mostly because I am out of my "discounted" film. Have not found too many deals lately. New stuff not going to get any cheaper either with less and less being purchased. Can still get e-6 chemicals though. So, I am not totally bummed out yet.
