This is my second time shooting with Nevin, who is represented by a male model focused agency. That agent has been sending me paying models for almost a year now without taking any percentage of my payment, because I'm not signed with them. Recently however the owner of the agency told me over video chat that he also represents photographers, and he essentially said I would be shortlisted if I'm interested in representation. I'm really hoping this could lead to some high paying fashion ad campaign shoots (a longtime career goal that I've always believed to be unobtainable), or something more than just model portfolios. I'm not signed under them yet, but if I go through with it I really hope the jobs get better so it's worthwhile to be giving them any sort of percentage. Either way, I'm grateful that it's even an option. I've been at this for a long time and sometimes can be very pessimistic about being a career photographer, but this is absolutely making me feel like more of an optimist about it.
Anyways, sorry to make you read my gloating, so here's the details about the photos for anyone who wants to know the technicals. They were all shot in natural light, with a white reflector used for some fill lighting. All were shot using a Canon 5D MKI, Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens set to f/8, ISO 500, 1/1600th sec.
