Photos NOT OK to edit
This is my second time shooting with Nevin, who is represented by a male model focused agency. That agent has been sending me paying models for almost a year now without taking any percentage of my payment, because I'm not signed with them. Recently however the owner of the agency told me over video chat that he also represents photographers, and he essentially said I would be shortlisted if I'm interested in representation. I'm really hoping this could lead to some high paying fashion ad campaign shoots (a longtime career goal that I've always believed to be unobtainable), or something more than just model portfolios. I'm not signed under them yet, but if I go through with it I really hope the jobs get better so it's worthwhile to be giving them any sort of percentage. Either way, I'm grateful that it's even an option. I've been at this for a long time and sometimes can be very pessimistic about being a career photographer, but this is absolutely making me feel like more of an optimist about it.

Anyways, sorry to make you read my gloating, so here's the details about the photos for anyone who wants to know the technicals. They were all shot in natural light, with a white reflector used for some fill lighting. All were shot using a Canon 5D MKI, Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens set to f/8, ISO 500, 1/1600th sec.

Congrats, Dan. It's hard to believe there's a waiting list to be represented. Maybe you could relate underwear to success and have your models lean against Porches and Ferraris or at the helm of a sailing yacht in one of your marinas just to stand out a bit.

Or maybe bathing in Dom Perignon?

Gloat away, you deserve it! Congratulations! :)
Great photos as well.

My favorite pose and photo is #3...just has the best combination of all things...pose,lighting,expression,overall artistic impact, dynamism, etc.. Congratulations on your successes!

Kind of funny...last night I was looking at some photos from an underwater modeling shoot, and at first, I read your title as "another underwater model shoot"! My bad...

I remember when I looked like that.
It was brief...

(pun intended)

I like them all, but I have a small issue with the halos in #4. They're minor, but they bug me.
Excellent shots otherwise. As always.

3 is my favorite as well. It looks the most natural as far as posing, but also has a very ad-campaign sort of feel (in my opinion; I'm biased lol).

One day I hope to look like that!

Thank you, and I appreciate the feedback.
