Another white wine for C & C

This is my first earnest attempt at light painting with EL wire. Certainly more translucent than my previous attempt. How could I make this better?

The wide angle lens appears to be a mistake since I'm close focusing for the picture I'm not getting everything in focus. Other than that I'm relatively pleased

I like the effect, but with all that swirly stuff, I'm kinda imagining a martini glass and a guy in a fedora hiding in the shadows just outside the frame...

What a neat idea! I like the way you've combined the smoke into the photo. A few random thoughts-For me, this feels rather top heavy. I think I would like to see the negative space at the top with some more smoke, instead of the bottom.
I'm also left sort of wishing the smoke and drink were more tied toghether. like, maybe the smoke coming from a cigar-if that makes sense?
Super lighting though! And, I love the colors.

more like a guy dangling glowing wires like a puppeteer in the dark with a beer and tether cable liable to cause a disaster lol

I agree on it being top heavy, perhaps I'm a bit to eager to use my reflective surface. Do you think I should give up on the reflection or simply have less of it? It's also causing a bifurcation in the background. I haven't figured out how to deal with a reflective base and still have a seamless background.

Hmm. I would just go less, and maybe just zoom out a bit to get the best of both worlds maybe?

As for the reflection, the only solution I've come up with is cloning the edge out in post. That might be hard with the smoke though.

Turn this into a B&W and you'll have a winner. I don't do product photography ... but I think there may be a rule that the subject's color(s) should closely reflect the actual color of the product. Greenish, to me, is not an inviting glass of wine.

2) This attempt tries to make it compositionally nicer, stopped down a bit more to try to get some more DOF and tried to manipulate the wire to give a flow to the photo

I like the B&W best, but the composition is still off. Cropped too close to the top, IMO.
