Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted here. My wife and I are going through some life change. I've taken a job with Farmers Insurance, and so posting on TPF is definitely a few rungs further down the to-do list now!

Here's a few faves from a set I recently completed. One thing I've really been focusing on recently is keeping my processing consistent. A few weeks ago, I purchased an Expodisc and the results in my in-camera shots are noticeably improved.

As always, C&C is welcome.

Thanks for looking!

These are cute. I love that chair. I think the sun might be a little harsh in the last two. I really like #2, but #1 that pole is really distracting and would be an easy clone. I love the expodisc too when I do use it.

The pole was one thing I was on the fence about. I like how it provides a pivot for the image, and there's symmetry from it. But I could see how you feel that way. I might take another look at it for my portfolio, as I've already delivered these to the client.

Thanks!

Here's an idea for a variation on #2. Nextime have them pose on the other side so the hand will be the left hand with the engagement ring.

If you can, try shooting when the sun is less severe. In most of them they are squinting.

I will do that next time! #2 wasn't posed, I just moved around behind them to capture a sweet moment and she happened to look up at the right time.

It was 4pm when I shot #3 and #4. I think a lot of the squinting was due to the 60" reflector they had pointed at them. This was my first shoot using the reflectors on location. I'm still working out the kinks. Thanks!
