Hi all.

Long story short, my local sporting goods store sold bullets to some folks. Everything was done correctly and legally. Long story short, these bullets were used in a shooting. Now, the shop is under attack from a certain organization of people. Reverend Al Sharpton and his disciples were supposed to be at this rally; quite a shabang.

In return to this, the owner of the shop threw his own rally. An anti-rally rally. Before the group got there, the owner called in the local radio station, all of his supporters, and even a man from the church to support him. He played songs, gave speeches, and served a ton of free food. Quite a surprise when I thought I was going to see a petition.

Anywho, here it is. C&C if youd like. Enjoy!

The slogans are pro-gun. Ill try to dig up some information on the organization for you all.

Any input on the photos? This is my first shot at the whole "street" photography thing..

Well shot 5 is just a nicely exposed BW, but it doesn't do much for the story without the other pics.

I like the second shot with everyone standing and all these chairs between the speaker and the crowd. This is the most dramatic of the bunch. It looks as if he is circled and confronted by a mob. Were they speaking with microphones? It doesn't look like they are, but that would have helped to get across the scene if you could see a microphone. They are all very competent BW pics, but aside from the over-the-top slogans, there seems to be a lack of drama.

There was a lack of drama . There wasnt much going on. People were standing around talking with each other and they gave speeches..but only two. At that time, there were no microphones, no. The man in #2, though, was the shop owner. I suppose it would have been nice for me to say that.

Thanks,
Mark

I like your idea on #6, but maybe stopping down a little bit to make the flag more in focus would make it even better.

I put the flag out of focus on purpose. But thanks for the comment. (:
