Any experiences with these flash's?

Or

Vivitar DF383 Digital TTL

Thoughts? Experiences? Would like some opnions before I order either flash, or suggestion of another one around the 130 price range for a Rebel XS.

I have a YN-465 on an XS, and I'm glad of it. However I do not have any other experience.

As much as I like KMH's suggestion ( I have a few of those too) but I think the OP's interested in those two options because they claim E-TTL support (the 283/285 do not).

Does anyone have any good input on third party E-TTL flashes? My experience with third party support of E-TTL flashes was not that great but this was a long long time ago.

For my purposes, yes. I don't do TTL flash.
