Any Last Minute Tips on automotive shooting?

Hi im new to the forum so dont laugh do you guys or girls have any tips on shooting moving cars? im using a canon s5 is and i really want some nice pics!
Any tips im leaving in 4 hours!:hail:

sorry... i've never shot fast moving vehicle so my advice is general....

if I were trying this I would be playing with shutter priority... experimenting with fast speeds to freeze action and slower speeds to create blur...

I would be careful the autofocus isn't wasting time hunting because you will be panning and the car will be moving.... if you get hunting, try switching to manual focus...

for shots were the car isn't occupying the full frame I would be trying to leave open space in front of the car....
