Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello,
I am not sure if these 3 images have even any photography taken or its fully photoshop. My main concern is how to make the screen protector, with the cuts that was done to it. Also was the screen protector taken by a photography first then photoshop because it looks so fake and fully photoshop to me

@ Judobreaker, thanks for your reply. Any ideas how I can make something like this? I can get the phone behind the screen protector, but I just don't know how to even make the screen protector, any 1 of them would be fine.

Duplicate the image of the phone and drop out the background. Lock the layer in the layers palette to protect the transparent areas. Fill with white and you can apply BW gradients, then reduce the opacity according to your taste to make it translucent to see the original phone layer.

Hey,
@ bianni
Thanks for your helpful reply, do you have a tutorial or guide for this that way I can follow by the guide to do this. From what I belive what you're telling is, in order to make the screen protector I will make it from the phone, I will duplicate the phone, cut off all the background, make the whole phone white. Ok now my question is,how can i apply the cuts of the screen protector? like the 3 image above. And how would I alo apply the black & white gradient on the screen protector to show any of those effect?

Thanks so much

I bet it was actually done in a program like illustrator, not photoshop.

these are incredibly easy images to recreate for even the most basic user of PS or IL.

JC350, here is the workflow. I made screen shots of it with explanations.

@ bianni
I'm so sorry for the late reply.
I was trying to duplicate the phone but was having too hard of a time to even cut out the background, it wouldn't cut out if I duplicate the layer, and I was wondering what tool did you use to make the phone white, I couldn't make it white at all.

After removing the background of the phone, lock the layer to protect the transparent areas, then fill with white. If you can download the screen shots, so you can zoom in to read the instructions, it's all there.

Hello,
I'm just having a hard time making the circular cut with the pen tool, everytime I try to make the circular, the cut always stretch so hard in all direction, is there any specific hotkey I need to hold or click while making the circular cuts?

EDIT:
hey I've posted a example, take a look here, the one to the right is a curve, but its not curving equally, its too much to the right, I don't know how to make the circle center like urs, that's my problem.

Also what if I want to make a circle cut all around, how would I do that?

when you drag the handles, press the shift key and drag the handle down then drag the other handle on the left the same length as the other handle.
What do you mean by circle cut all around? Do you to make a circle?

Hello, I was talking with another member, they told me i was suppose to use the "pen curvent point tool" for the curve area.
Sorry what I meant about the circle cut all around is like this "0" basically you see a zero is like circular all around in all corners, If I drag it wouldn't look perfect like a "0" unless i drag all corners the same length but since its manual dragging, there no way of knowing how exact your dragging is except by eyeballing, which is rare at least for me to even get it close on all corners.

I figure maybe there another tool or way of making circular cuts all around.

By the way I forgo to ask, what did you use to remove the phone inside to fully white, I used alot of work, like quick selection and magic wand, they don't work too well. Also if I want to delete the side of the phone like volume button, what should I do to delete it and keep the border line as its not needed when using to make a screen protector.

take a course on PS and illustrator.

Saw a video not too long ago in which the manipulator, with the help of PhotoShop, turned a turtle into a beautiful model in just a few minutes.

I'm sure the manipulator is an expert but the end result was quite convincing.
