Plug It In, Use It! - No functions are hidden by confusing menus.

Never heard of this, but it looks to be of limited use and fairly weak. I have the Sigma DG Super and the functionality of swivel head makes it much more useful particularly if shooting portrait mode. Like everything else, you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay up front rather than buying cheaper stuff with less functionality that I eventually get frustrated w/ and end up buying what I wanted to start with anyway.

Are you talking about the difference b/w the Sigma super and the Sigma ST?:

I think the only difference is that the super has more flexability in power. You can adjust it's power from 1/1 to 1/64 in 6 steps while the ST is 1/1 or 1/16. That and $100 :)

Ahh I like the idea of being able to step down the power - but I don't have the extra 100... so Ill get the regular one now.

Anyone else out there know of a decent 3rd party flash other than Sigma??? Adorama sells alot, phoenix/nissin/whatever, but I dont want to buy CRAP either, you know?

I use the Promaster 7500 DX. It's more powerful than the Sigma, and features fully adjustable power from 1 to 1/32. It's $10 cheaper than the Sigma Super.

Yeah I jsut cannot find a diffuser for it!

err found one!
