I did look at them, for me buying 2 of the 8 packs is about the same. It came out to $24.60 for 1 of the packs with tax, Thomas wants shipping of $7.77 to my house - I save a whopping $0.54 by purchasing them this way! Actually, I don't need 16 of them as I have a bunch of Sanyo Eneloops floating around the house for various tasks and I am buying these for a flash I just ordered.

I had no idea that MAHA made low discharge batteries until you posted a link on a thread here on TPF. I figured I'd get these as I had a good experience with their non low discharge batteries and 2400 mAh is better then the Sanyo Eneloops.

These look like regular NiMH batteries where Eneloops and Imedions are low discharge types. On a side note I didn't think manufacturers made AA 3800 mAh batteries, the most I've seen around were 2900 mAh from the name brand manufacturers. It would be a great buy if they truely are 3800 mAh.
