Anyone sing karaoke?

My wife and I have been frequenting this sports bar for a few years now. It's really fun getting to do songs you like and have listened to for years. Have done many Eagles songs, Nirvana, etc. For those brave enough, here's a snippet of my rendition of "About a girl" by Nirvana, but it's 14MB:

Hehe!! Actually you can tell that I actually AM singing that song... but I overlaid Kurt's voice on to mine, mostly as a joke to some guys I know. You don't think I'd REALLY put a video of me singing on the internet do ya?

Overlaying his voice worked really well because it was the live version of the song, and we were in a public place, so the applause made it real believable.

Also I do a really good job on that song; and trust me, there are songs I suck at, but that isn't one of them. You can tell when you suck by the audience's reaction. This place usully has about 100 people in the house, it's kind of a wild place.

Hey that's one of the few bee gee's song that is actually good imho, neat music.

And yes I overlaid Kurt's voice onto mine, immortalizing him in the process 8)

BUT, I have been told I do that song very well. I think the worst song I ever did was "love lift us up" where I tried to do joe cocker; uuhhh... no. Sounded terrible.

I have the occasional stab at Karaoke, bit of a walk in the park considering I sing in my band aswell. :lol:

I know I know, unfair advantage but the last time i had a sing was 'What's the Frequency Kenneth?' by R.E.M and 'Listen to the Music' by The Doobie Brothers (had a headache after that one :lol:

The REM song would be tough; typically, the faster the song the more difficult.
