Hi from Australian living in Texas

Hoping to find interesting information, photography wise, friendly respectful chat with a laugh or six thrown in.
Been into photography about 4 years now. Lost some of my photography interest a few months back, I think because I don't drive here (vision problems) so got bored seeing the same things each day, but still read online articles or watch YouTube photography videos daily.
Very hot summers here (very high humidity) which also limits how far I can walk, meaning only safe to go out in the mornings.
I'm married to a wonderful Texan woman, I am retired from work, but the wife works Monday to Friday (wife is nearly 10 years younger) and is the ONLY reason I live here. So this means I have Monday to Friday to myself.
We live semi rural, so it's a very small population around us. I truly do love the quietness and solitude here, it's great to not have a neighbour's home within several hundred feet of of our home.
I don't really have any type of photo style, or any genre of photography. I do enjoy minimilism, macro, abstract, black and white, ICM, flowers and trees photography
Alright I've dribbled on enough. I usually keep to myself, but hoping I can participate in some stuff in here.
Sorry if this is boring, but had no idea what else to say.
