Anyone tried the Mosaic Engineering filter

Hi,

We shoot a lot in Africa using the Nikon D800 for video work where we need to travel light. I prefer the dynamic range of the Nikon D800 over the Canon Mk3 but it does suffer from moire. I've seen some info on the Mosaic Engineering filter which looks very promising. Has anyone used one of these filters on their D800 and what have the results been like?

How practical would it be for your use? I looked at your blog, and saw that you used the D800 for both motion and still pictures. Would you want to keep inserting and removing the filter? If you want a small, high quality video camera why not wait for the Panasonic GH3? It has much higher quality video codecs than the D800, and it could share a lot of lenses with the Nikon.
