These are both very nice, I prefer the second one though. It has that artistic touch brought by the rich textures. excellent work!

The first one is quite nice. I like the repeated shapes and textures.

The various spots and speckles on the wooden board/counter/whatever on the left side of the frame I find slightly distracting. This is a very minor quibble, but if those could be cleaned up (either by cleaning the physical object, or with a light touch on the healing brush in post) I think the image would be stronger.

These read as farm apples ...leave them alone...I like the second shot better and like the negative space on the bowl. Recrop the first one ... you can improve on that one

Agree, I really like the negative space and the detail in the wood. I think it makes the composition stronger in the full image as well.
