Im looking for an App that will convert 1 exposure to another. Im sure this does not make sense so here is an example. If I have a correct exposure of ISO 6400 f8 1/60 I would like to know the equivalent exposure at ISO 100 and f8. I know I could do the math but would much rather it tell me than trying to calculate.

I had one that did that (it was a hyperfocal distance calculator - the exposure thing was just an 'added feature' of it, but I didn't use it much so I uninstalled it...

I couldn't find it (or remember the name of it...), but this looks similar, and will do what you want (look at the fourth screenshot):

Honestly, I think most of the DOF Calculator apps do that too...

Just do the math, it's pretty easy. If you can double or halve a number in your head then there's no reason to get an app to do this for you...

I do the math in my head, but I have been doing so for 30 years and basically do it on auto-pilot.

... Seriously? I mean... even if you can't do the math why don't you just use aperture-priority mode with exposure compensation if need be.

Most cameras only meter out to 30 seconds.

In the example he gave, it would be just over a second - so the meter could still have been used without doing any of this... Usually, whenever I have to figure things like this out, it would be something more like going from 1600, f/1.4, 10 seconds - and I want to know how many minutes that is at ISO 100, f/8. And usually I can do that in my head, drunk. Worst case, I would break out the pen and paper I have in my camera bag.

When you have to jack the ISO way up and open the aperture just to get the needle to show up on the meter, that's when you have to do this...

Im preparing to do some night shots with some long exposures and would like to be able to get close to the correct exposure using my highest ISO to verify the shot and then translate that into the lower ISO. I really don't want to mess around with a flash light ,pen , and paper at night. I would rather insert the correct exposure in the app and see the alternative exposures at different ISO.

Just count the clicks on your dials or use the app in the 8-inch space between your ears.
