You don't have to clone (that will leave overlaps). Copy the top portion of the window where there is no sign, paste over the sign a couple of times and line the pieces up.

haven't used LR since its Beta, but I don't think there is a C & P. In Elements or Photoshop, you would select the portion you might clone, Ctrl C (copy), Ctrl V (paste) then move it into place. I set a feather edge of 1-3 pixels on whatever selection tool I'm using so there's no hard edges.
