I was in Iceland two years ago. While waiting to re-board the tour bus after lunch, I saw this carved rock in a field, next to the parking lot. There was no sign, no name, no indication of recent activity, it was just there. I am sure there was a logical explanation, but sometimes you just can't beat serendipity.
