What about "Impressionistic photography", like what Eva Polak does and TPF's own Mishele does with the flowers?

I'd have to check it out...which I can't since I'm at work. I think it is a very interesting question of where to draw the line...nobody else gets it!!

General Gallery would be fine.

But realistically, do you really need a seperate forum for a "style" of imagery?

Don't over think it. You don't need to draw so many lines. Keep it simple.

Um...thank you. That is the distinction I was trying to make. That was very well written...nail-on-the-head sort of thing. Isn't that worth its own gallery?!? I was only considering it because I don't know where to post some of my stuff. I have recent pictures of tadpoles in the river...not quite abstract..not quite a nature shot. I posted on the General Gallery.

General is generally a good catchall for anything that doesn't quite fit into any of the other categories
