Just connect your dslr to your tv with that art gallery picture and point the camera to the tv screen. Now you've got an infinite regress with no visible end.

HDMI -- I got a 15 feet for use either for the laptop and/or camera. I thought the quality will suffer but it didn't. If it does it is so minute it is barely noticeable. 'Use it mostly for Adorama TV.
