Artist in Residence

An area local to where I live holds an annual Art fair. It comprises exhibitions around the town center and various competitions. Typically a location will be specified and artists have the day to produce their work featuring the location, for judging at the days end. This guy was taking part in a competition to produce a portrait of the Local Mayor and had established himself in the local art shop/Gallery.

I used to go downtown while stationed in Kunsan, ROK and watch the street artists paint portraits from pics people would bring and could spend some time in admiration. Very nice photo, sir!
